 Batla House teaser out : John Abraham's movie promises to reveal the truth behind 2008 Delhi encounter

Batla House's teaser starring John Abraham has hit the web. The film is based on Operation Batla House- a terrorist encounter that took place on September 19, 2008 in Delhi.

The incident took place against Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorists in Batla House locality in Jamia Nagar, Delhi.

Helmed by Nikkhil Advani, the movie is written by Ritesh Shah who previously helmed the hit film 'Pink' and will hit the big screens on August 15, 2019. 

The 26-second glimpse of the film, which begins with gunshots firing inside a house, promises a real story about the controversial encounter of Indian Mujahideen terrorists that took place eleven years ago in the national capital.

John Abraham who will play a cop in the film shared the news on his Instagram account along with a new poster and the teaser of the upcoming film.

The poster shows two cops engaged in firing inside a house with "A house was identified...a conspiracy was scripted, for a fake encounter." written on the poster.
