Ranveer Singh turned 34 yesterday and Bollywood celebrities flooded the Gully Boy actor with wishes. The sweetest wish came from Ranveer Singh's wife Deepika Padukone.
Deepika shared a throwback photo of him and wrote, "Sensitive & emotional,caring & compassionate,generous & gentle,funny & intelligent,delightful & faithful...all this and so much more... Ranveerand Deepika married in Lake Como last November after six years of dating. Their romance bloomed on the sets of their film Goliyon Ke Rasleela Ram Leela.
It was on his birthday that Ranveer revealed his look from the sports biopic 83, where he will play the role of Kapil Dev.
He captioned the photo, "On my special day, here’s presenting THE HARYANA HURRICANE. KAPIL DEV."
83, directed by Kabir Khan, revolves around India's historic victory at 1983 Cricket World Cup, where the team defeated West Indies under the captaincy of Kapil Dev. Deepika will play his wife Romi Bhatia. The film is slated for an April 2020 release.
He wrote, "Happy Birthday @ranveersingh 83 is one of those once in a lifetime experiences and I’m so glad you are the one stepping into Kapil Dev’s shoes for me. There is no way I would have pulled this one off without your incredible commitment and dedication. Your infectious enthusiasm motivates the team every day.
