In October 2018, a former employee of Phantom Films accused Vikas Bahl of sexually harassing her on the sets of movie Queen.
Later, the film's lead actress Kangana Ranaut spoke out in support of the former Phantom employee and corroborated her version of Vikas Bahl's sexual harassment.
Story of film
Super 30 is a biopic on a mathematics teacher ‘Anand Kumar’ from Bihar who runs a coaching institute to help underprivileged students prepare for competitive exams. The trailer of the the film was criticised for making Hrithik Roshan's face brown but Mrunal believes it was done to bring genuineness to the portrayal.

When asked whether the allegations against Vikas Bahl disturbed her.
Then she very graceful replied, “I thought about it but I realised, ‘what’s the fault of the film?’ The story is so wonderful, I have seen everyone working hard, while we were filming, everything was OK. I didn’t want the film to be affected. I’m glad that after everything, things have been cleared and the film is releasing on July 12. Mrinal Thakur said, "More than the hair and the makeup, what is important is to feel the character. I feel Hrithik has done an incredible job. Whenever I saw a glimpse of his performance as Anand Kumar, I thoroughly connected and enjoyed,”
She said, "We forget how great a performer he is because of his looks. He has felt the character thoroughly. Hair, makeup, costumes, these are just devices. What is important for an actor is to feel the character, something which he has done in an incredible way."
