Netflix India continues planning to enter the Indian market. There are seven different upcoming series and films are conformed.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan will co-produce a zombie horror series for streaming service Netflix India. According to sources, this will be a zombie horror seriestitled Betaal.
It will be written and directed by Patrick Graham, and co-directed by Nikhil Mahajan. It will be co-produced by Gaurav Verma, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Netflix. Patrick Graham had earlier helmed Radhika Apte starrer Ghoul for Netflix.
Vineet Kumar Singh and Aahana Kumra will be seen in the lead role in this series.
Story
Betaal is set during British colonial rule in a remote village where a two-century-old evil spirit, a British Indian army officer and his battalion of zombie redcoats are unleashed.
This will mark as the third content to be produced by Red Chillies Entertainment for Netflix, after 'Bard of Blood', with Emraan Hashmi, and 'Class of 83' with Bobby Deol.

Recently, NetflixIndia had announced that 'Bard of Blood', will be released on its platform on 27 September. The seven-episode series is based on Bilal Siddiqi's bestselling book of the 'Bard of Blood.'
Story
The official logline of the show reads, "The story is about four Indian intelligence officers belonging to the Indian Intelligence Wing (IIW) who are compromised, before they can relay an important piece of information to India. They get captured and are about to be decapitated. The stakes are high."

Anushka Sharma said, “This is my second collaboration with Netflix after Bulbul and we are again looking to disrupt the kind of content audiences are consuming. We at Clean Slate Films have been dedicated to making clutter-breaking, powerful stories since our first production and we are looking forward to pushing the content envelope.
She added, "The creative freedom to be able to translate these stories to screens that reach a global the audience is exciting for us, which is why Netflix is such an important partner,"
Story
Mai series revolves around 47 years old wife and mother, who battles white-collar crime and politics, which forever changes her and the world she inhabits.
The series is written by Atul Mongia along with Amita Vyas, Tamal Sen, with Sudip Sharma as a creative producer.

Next, Netflix upcoming series is Masaba Masaba.
Story
It is a scripted series based on real-life leading fashion designer Masaba Gupta's life. The story around her unique background, the diverse worlds she straddles across fashion and family, and her foray back into the dating world. The series will star Masaba alongside her mother, actress Neena Gupta, as themselves.
This series is created and produced by Ashvini Yardi's Viniyard Films and will be directed by Sonam Nair.

Alankrita Shrivastava's Bombay Begums is also part of the streaming platform's list of upcoming series.
Story
‘Bombay Begums’ series revolves around five women from different generations and their lives in contemporary urban India.
This series is created, written and directed by Alankrita, the show has Chernin Entertainment and Endemolshine India attached as executive producers.

American actor and director, Ravi Patel's Messy is also part of the streaming platform's list of upcoming series.
Story
Messy series revolves around on Mumbai's rising stand-up comic, Beanie, who struggles to balance a career in comedy with pleasing a yuppie day-job boss, peculiar best friends forever, persistent parents, and proposal-popping boyfriend.
Ravi Patel has co-writer of the series with Neel Shah. It is co-produced by The District's David Bernad and Ruben Fleischer and Mutant Films' Seher Aly Latif and Shivani Saran.
Meanwhile, Netflix India’s next releases the much-awaited The 2nd season of its first Indian original series, Sacred Games, which will be released on 15 August.
